Attar Spray For Pooja
Blue Oud is a heavyweight in the world of Middle Eastern perfumery. Unlike "White Oud," which tends to be floral and airy, or "Black Oud," which is smoky and medicinal, Blue Oud is designed to bridge the gap between traditional oriental richness and modern "Blue" fragrances (like Bleu de Chanel or Sauvage).
It is essentially a "Fresh-Woody" profile: it keeps the deep, resinous backbone of agarwood but layers it with cool, aquatic, or spicy top notes to make it wearable in heat.
The Scent Profile
Most Attar-style Blue Ouds follow this three-tier progression:
-
The Opening (The "Blue" part): Usually a sharp, clean burst of marine notes, lavender, or citrus (often bergamot). This provides the "cooling" sensation.
-
The Heart: This is where it gets spicy. You'll typically find black pepper, cardamom, or sage, which prevents the scent from becoming a generic aquatic.
-
The Base (The "Oud" part): A clean, synthetic Oud (often Oud Malaki style) mixed with amber and guaiac wood. It’s woody and masculine but lacks the "barnyard" or "funky" scent of raw, aged Dehn Al Oud.
