Attar Roll On For Pooja (Kesar)

This is a beautiful presentation of Kesar (Saffron) Attar, likely from a heritage perfumery in India (given the architecture of the ghats pictured on the box). Kesar attar is highly prized because it’s one of the few fragrances that is simultaneously earthy, honey-like, and slightly bitter.

Unlike alcohol-based perfumes, this is a concentrated oil, likely distilled into a base of Sandalwood oil, which acts as a fixative to make the scent last for 8-12 hours on the skin.
